Blood donation is about helping others and saving lives. The more individuals involved, the more people can benefit. It is a great habit to develop that every individual must possess.

This year, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated around the world and it raises awareness about the need for safe blood and blood products to save lives. In keeping with the theme, “Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives “. It aims to raise awareness of the vital responsibilities voluntary blood donations play in saving lives and fostering community cooperation.

The employees of Venvi Group of Companies participated in the event and demonstrated their support by donating blood on two separate dates which were on June 08, 2022, at Executive House in Venvi Agro and at Balai Condominiums Clubhouse last July 29, 2022.

The Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center carried out the bloodletting activity with the assistance of Ms. Ryan Rollaine Simon, the Municipal Blood Coordinator. A total of 76 bags of blood were collected from the two distinct bloodletting activities, which had between 100 – 120 participants.

Venvi Group of Companies strives to increase the sense of voluntarism among its employees through the ongoing implementation of corporate social responsibility programs. In doing so, they are putting themselves in the position of those in the community whose in need and engaging in other activities that promote social responsibility.

The blood that is collected will not only help the Venvi Group of Companies’ employees by making it accessible for them to request and get blood when they need it, but it will also help save the lives of others, particularly in the Municipality of San Nicolas where Venvi is based.

As a result, Venvi Group of Companies will keep operating as a trustworthy business that gives back to the community rather than operating only for financial gain.
