The contract extension, signed on July 15, 2025, reaffirms both organizations’ shared commitment to rebuilding and strengthening local swine production through innovation, sustainability, and world-class genetics. Over the past ten years, this partnership has played a pivotal role in improving herd performance, supporting local farmers, and enhancing national food security.

As part of this renewed alliance, VENVI will increase its sow population from 4,000 to 5,250 a 31% expansion that is expected to significantly enhance breeder production. This growth will help meet the rising demand for high-quality pork, ensure a stable and sustainable supply, and provide greater opportunities for local communities engaged in livestock farming.
