Viven Hotel return to its “New Normal” operations

Covid-19 pandemic has made a tremendous impact on the different business sectors. In the tourism and hospitality industry alone, some well-known hotels like Marco Polo Davao announced its closure last June, Victoria Court motel chain shut down some of its branches and Okada Manila laid off 1,000 employees due to massive operational losses. Viven Hotel is no exception to this huge blow as it temporarily closed its doors for more than 2 months due to the pandemic.

After accomplishing all mandatory requirements to operate, Viven Hotel has been certified by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) citing it as an accredited accommodation establishment last June 2020. Tara-on Restaurant by VIven Hotel and Tribeca Coffee has also joined the operations.

As Viven Hotel return to its “new normal” operations,  ensuring the safety of its guests and staff is the utmost priority of the management by strictly adhering to standard health and safety procedures set by DOT. Upon entry, our courteous staff will conduct temperature checks and will request guests to disinfect; sanitizing mats are stationed at all entrance points of the hotel; Guest sanitation kits are also provided upon check-in of the guests; floor markers and Covid-19 prevention reminders are plastered everywhere; and thorough disinfection of rooms are also done after every guest check-out.

To be one with the province in achieving zero active cases, Viven Hotel has committed itself to be part of the advocacy and ultimately dedicating itself to further provide quality service to clients amidst the situation.
